セシル・ウーセ（1936年生まれ）のEMIクラシックスのレコーディングは、専属契約として3番目のレーベルとなり、46歳だった1982年から1991年までの約9年間にわたって録音をおこないました。2006年12月に健康上の理由から演奏活動から引退していますが、彼女の85歳を記念した旧EMIへの名録音を全て収録したこのボックスでは、彼女のピアニズムを堪能できるものとなっています。各ディスクは、オリジナル・ジャケットを使用したデザインの紙ジャケ仕様。
