昨年上演された『PEACE HILL 天狗と呼ばれた男～岡部平太物語～』に続く第2弾『PEACE HILL2～東京オリンピック奮闘記～岡部平太物語』。上演を前に、岡部平太が「平和台（ピースヒル）」と名付けた平和台陸上競技で制作発表が行なわれた。岡部は、明治24年糸島生まれ。幼いころからスポーツ万能で、上京して加納治五郎に師事。その後アメリカに留学し、日本スポーツ界に初めて「理論的なトレーニング」を紹介するなど活躍した。戦争で愛息・平一を失った彼は、戦後、GHQに掛け合い現・ 全文
