歴史的音源の良質なCD復刻で定評のある英スクリベンダムより、クナッパーツブッシュ・コレクションの第3巻が登場。今回は戦後関係が深まったミュンヘン・フィルとの共演録音でライヴ録音（モノラル）は1948年9月（ベートーヴェンの第1）から、最後の演奏会となった1964年1月（R.シュトラウスの死と変容、ブルックナーの第3）まで、ウエストミンスターへのセッション録音（ステレオ）は全て収録されています
