今回はマスタリングの全行程をプロ用の機器を使用し、めざましい音質改善を獲得しました。使用したテープには「DECCA CS6114/5(ZAL3218/20)、レコード用」と、番号とマトリクスが添えられていることから、アメリカ・ロンドン盤のLPプレス用マスターかと思われます。そのせいでしょうか、その広がりの豊かさ、そして暖かく新鮮で瑞々しい音色は、とても1956年のステレオ録音とは思えません。(平林直哉)https://tower.jp/article/feature_item/2023/06/02/1112 TOWER RECORDS ONLINE - 主要記事
