2023年に没後40年を迎えたボールトのライヴ音源が、BBCのアーカイヴより新リマスターで登場。目玉は、彼が公開で行った最後のオーケストラ・コンサートである1977年の「南極交響曲」の初発売。併せてホルストの「ハマースミス」「フーガ風序曲」といった小品の初登場も嬉しいところ。なお、『惑星』も2013年にBBC Music Magazineの付録としてCD化されたのみの貴重なもの、ウォルトンの交響曲第1番はCarlton BBC Radio Classicsで出ていたものと同一の演奏となっていますhttps://tower.jp/article/feature_item/2023/08/15/1111 TOWER RECORDS ONLINE - 主要記事
