1995年阪神淡路大震災後に開催されてきた「レクイエムの夕べ」(神戸市主催)で神戸市混声合唱団により歌われてきたフォーレのレクイエムは、市民にとって大きな心の慰めのコンサートであった。元神戸市職員の谷口惠一氏は、残された人々の心、希望の光となる聖書的な部分をもっと身近なことばで伝わらないのかと日本語化に取り組み、2021年に楽譜を出版(出版社:エピック)。2022年に出版記念コンサートを神戸市の西神中央ホールで開催し、CDはそのライブ録音であるhttps://tower.jp/article/feature_item/2023/03/07/1111 TOWER RECORDS ONLINE - 主要記事
