鴻上尚史が率いる「虚構の劇団」の解散公演『日本人のへそ』が2022年10月21日（金）東京の座・高円寺1にて開幕。アメリカ帰りの教授のもとに集められた吃音患者たち。教授の指導者のもと「アイオワ方式吃音療法」によって、患者の一人であるヘレン天津の半生を題材にした演劇に取り組むことになった。ヘレンは、岩手県の農村に生まれ、集団就職で上京。さまざまな職を転々とし、浅草でストリッパーになる。その後、ヤクザの女となり、最後には政治家の東京の妻になる。劇がフィナーレ 全文
