10月2日（日）、新国立劇場のオペラ2022/23シーズンがヘンデル《ジュリオ・チェーザレ》新制作で幕を開けた。2011年にパリ・オペラ座で初演されたロラン・ペリー演出のプロダクション。古楽界の巨匠リナルド・アレッサンドリーニの指揮。見どころも聴きどころも満載だ。チェーザレ（カエサル、シーザー）やクレオパトラら歴史の有名人が登場する物語は、ヘンデルのオペラの中でも人気が高い。ペリーは現代のエジプト博物館の収蔵庫を舞台に、不思議な時空の歪みを作り出した。冒頭いき 全文
