2020年、コロナ禍で6月の開幕前に全公演中止となった舞台『アルキメデスの大戦』が、2年を経て上演される。天才数学者の視点から第二次世界大戦を描く三田紀房の漫画を原作に、2019年夏公開の映画を原案として初めて舞台化。脚本と演出は、歴史をもとにした骨太な作品に定評のある劇団チョコレートケーキのコンビだ。独自の視点で史実に隠されたドラマを紡ぐ古川健の脚本に、人間の心情を丁寧に描く日澤雄介の演出。映像とはまた違い、生の演劇で今作を担うのにふさわしい布陣と言える 全文
