ロンドン・フィルの名誉指揮者(2021-)となったユロフスキ(1972 生まれ)。2018年(当時は首席指揮者、2008-2021)に1年間かけて行った、ストラヴィンスキー・フェスティヴァル「Changing Faces」シリーズを、全3巻でリリースするシリーズの第1弾。ストラヴィンスキーの作品を作曲年代順に演奏する好企画で、現地でも評判でした。第1弾は、≪火の鳥≫にいたるまでの最初期の作品を収録。フィルアップとして、≪春の祭典≫(2008年)を収録しているのもうれしいところ
