伝統と歴史ある神戸女学院大学では2019年度より音楽学部の授業科目としてウインドオーケストラ（吹奏楽）を設立。2020年度より作曲家・八木澤教司が講師陣に加わることでハル・レオナード・ヨーロッパ（デ・ハスケ）と提携し、フィリップ・スパーク、トーマス・ドスなどヨーロッパを代表する作曲家の新作を日本初演、CDとして世界初録音する取り組みを開始。今作も世界初録音4曲収録https://tower.jp/article/feature_item/2021/05/13/1107 TOWER RECORDS ONLINE - 主要記事
