「アルチェステ」序曲はベルリンのシラー劇場開幕記念演奏会のライヴで、「英雄」は1950年6月、ティタニア・パラストでの同じくライヴです。ベルリン・フィルの「英雄」は1952年12月のライヴが2種類存在する関係上、そちらの方に注目が集まりがちです。しかし、ダイナミック・レンジなど、総合的な音質で言えばこの1950年盤の方が2種の1952年盤よりも優れており、もしかすると、3種の中ではこの1950年盤が最高と言えるかもしれません。（平林直哉）https://tower.jp/article/feature_item/2021/03/30/1111 TOWER RECORDS ONLINE - 主要記事
