東京都江戸東京博物館で初の試みとなる、館蔵浮世絵コレクションによる特別展「冨嶽三十六景への挑戦 北斎と広重」が4月24日(土)から6月20日(日)まで開催される。本展の主役は、風景画で双璧をなす葛飾北斎と歌川広重。見どころの一つは、北斎の代表作「冨嶽三十六景」の全点展示だ。展覧会の前半では、冨嶽に至る天才絵師・北斎の20歳代後半から60歳代までの挑戦を作品から辿っていく。一方、冨嶽が刊行した当時、広重は30歳代後半だった。その頃はヒット作のない絵師だった広重だっ 全文
