ピエートロ・トルリ（1660頃～1737）はバイエルン選帝侯の宮廷作曲家として活躍したイタリア人作曲家。1706年初演のオラトリオ“現世のむなしさ”は受難節を彩った端正な充実作です。この盤は1988年の記念碑的放送録音で、全盛期のムジカ・アンティクヮ・ケルンと名古楽歌手たちが居並ぶ演奏陣の豪華さは圧巻！
