オッテルローはオランダ・フィリップスに1950年から66年にかけて膨大な録音を残しました。このBOXも24枚中、約20枚分はフィリップス原盤です。他にドイツ・グラモフォンへのステレオ録音2枚分（CD10＆17）、コンサートホール・ソサエティへの録音3枚分（CD4、6、24）が収録されているのが嬉しいところです
